I have an annoying habit of putting things off. I noticed at the weekend that my page views had gone over 5,000 and ment to thank all who have looked, viewed or commented on my pages, but I didn't. My page views are now 5,250 ish so thank you.

From my drawings it is obvious that I have an interest / fascination with leg braces. I am one of these "sad" (sane and deviated) people who suffers from Abasiophilia. Like most people who "suffer" from Abasiophilia I did not know it existed until I discovered the internet (what a marvellous educational tool that is). I just new that I was fascinated with leg braces from a very early age, why, no idea, but I did think it was abnormal, until I discovered, via the internet, that a lot of other people "suffered" from the same affliction. So, I think I have finally accepted my "abnormality".

The other half of my perversion is bondage, I think some where in my dark and distant past the two fetishes / interests are linked i.e. a desire for immobility (not disability).

I also have a deep respect for the art work of John Willie and whilst I have not tried to copy his style (nor any where near his standard) I hope some of his elegance of simple line drawings comes through.

If anyone has a theme, for a braced women to be involved in, let me know and I will see what I can do.

Don't suppose you have come across the brilliant imagery of the photographer Bill Koons?

Oh, you can’t help that said the Cat. We’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad
'How do you know I’m mad' said Alice.
'You must be,” said the Cat. 'or you wouldn’t have come here'

Yes I am familiar with the works of Bill Koons. I saw a lot on the old Infotrek site, but I think the first ones I saw were on Emilines Artistic LegBraces

Unfortunately poor old Bill had some serious surgery a couple of years ago and has never been the same since. I sent him a brace that belonged to a friend of mine a while back with the idea he was going to do some younger ones but his illness put a stop to that and that's that I suppose. Pity as others have come along since who might have been able to use it.

Klabien, I'm just as "crazy" as you are I have been fascinated by leg braces as long as I can remember.

As for themes for a drawing. I am fascinated( big word for "turned on") by polio ladies who are brace wearers but can walk a little without them. Theme,Using crutches only, our heroine valiently struggles up a flight of stairs. Her polio devastated legs bending backward almost double without her supporting braces.
